27 Asociatia are ca scop promovarea sudarii prin fa- cilitarea obtinerii, sistematizarii si diseminarii cunos- tintelor stiintifice si tehnice din domeniul sudarii prin organizarea de manifestari stiintifice (congrese, con- ferinre, mese rotunde), vizite, expozitii si prin editarea de publicatii si dezvoltarea si administrarea sistemului de calificare/ certificare a competentei personalului din domeniul sudarii, pe baza standardelor europene si internatio- nale adoptate de Romania si a ghidurilor Institutului International de Sudura si ale Federatiei Europene de Sudura. The Association aims to promote welding by facilitating the acquisition, systematization and dissemination of scientific and technical knowledge in the field of welding through the organization of scientific events (congresses, conferences, round tables), visits, exhibitions and by publishing publications and development and administration of the qualification/certification system for welding personnel, based on the European and international standards adopted by Romania and the guidelines of the International Institute of Welding and the European Welding Federation.
